He is survived by: his wife Delianne Greydanus Koops (Delia Anne); his children, Sarah Koops Vanderveen (David) of Laguna Beach, California, Christopher Koops (Renee) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jeanne Louise Koops of El Cerrito, CA and Geoffrey Koops (Anna) of Amsterdam, NL.; and his grandchildren, Schuyler Vanderveen, Willem Vanderveen, Otto, Anders, Elliot, Cohen Koops, Ramona, Gus and Oscar.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, California (2407 Dana St, Berkeley, CA 94704).
