He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his grandson Gregory Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Hicks (Kathy) of Dixon, Sharon DeBenedetti (Rich) of Healdsburg, Dennis Hicks (Kathie) of Richmond, Patricia Delorefice (Dan) of Winters and Denise Rose (John) of Davis. He is also survived by grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to in memory of Gerald L. Hicks.
