He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boni and Fannie Boni; his wife Adele; his son Robert; his grandson Michael; and his son-in-law Doug Johnston.
He is survived by: his brother Jim Boni; his daughters, Cheryle and Arlene; his granddaughters, Maile and Christine; his great grandchildren, Matthew Aikau Phillips, Mylinda Ipson and Piilani Phillips; and his great great grandchild Rhea Ipson.
