She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Machut; her parents, Mary Higuera and Charlie Higuera; and her sister Charlene Higuera Kutz. She is survived by: her granddaughter Tillie Quines; and her children, John Anthony of Las Cruses, NM, Michelle Garcia and Patricia Machut. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
