He was predeceased by: his parents, Toma Kharat and Rahel Oraha. He is survived by: his wife Basima Jubrail Kakka; and his children, Lahib, Luay, Bayar, Maysa, Wasan and Lina. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral (1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Hall (1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019).
