As Madlin departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Madlin may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Madlin leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zora Basaka and Sara Hermiz. She is survived by: her husband Abdulmaseeh; and her children, Salam, Salah, Salwa, Suhad and Sana. She is also survived by 45 Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Chaldean Catholic Church (1763 N 1st St, El Cajon, CA 92021). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102). Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1340 Broadway EL CAJON, CA 92021. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102).
