He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert C. Himes and Letha I. Himes. He is survived by: his siblings, Gilbert Himes, John Himes Sr., Timothy Himes, Kathy Nichols, Karen Koon and Kristi Collins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service (684 S Mollison Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Miramar National Veterans Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122).
