It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella JoAnn Murphy of Durham, California, who passed away on April 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stella JoAnn Murphy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Spain and Doyle Spain; and her brothers, John and Doyle Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Niemela (Karl) and Tony Murphy (Annie); her grandchildren, Bobbie, Levi, Caden and Wayne III; and her brother Ron Spain (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her favorite place to donate money was the slot machines at Feather Falls casino and she enjoyed getting to know the workers and regulars there.
