We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2021, at the age of 97, Sam MacKinley Vickers of Durham, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Vickers and Senora Tilley Moore; his siblings, Louis Vickers and Irene Vickers Freeland; his niece Altheria; his children, T'Leatha R. Suitt-Johnson (Arthur), Dr. Thomas P. Suitt (Brittany), Theresa E. Robertson (Jordan) and Michael Tyrone Vickers (Letty Irene Vickers); his grandchildren, Samantha Maria and Riley Monique Vickers; his nephew Gregory K. Freeland (Sharon Hoshida); and also Allegra N. Shan. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
