He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Montgomery (Bammann) and Frederick S. Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Lila Walsvick; his stepchildren, Wade Walsvick (Jen), Tustin and Lori Kaumeyer (Thom) of Oahu, HI.; his brothers, Rick Montgomery (Sherri) of Santa Barbara and Mark Montgomery (Kathi) of Durham; his stepmother Ann Montgomery of Chico; his nephews, Heath Montgomery (Monique), Fred Montgomery (Erika) and Brent Montgomery; his niece Pilar-Montgomery Celmins (John); his grandchildren, Mandi Kaesman, C. J. Walsvick, Jordan Mootz, Hunter Mootz, Ava Walsvick and Luke Walsvick; his stepdaughter Laura Russell (Montgomery); and also, Terry Chaney (Larry) of San Diego and John Doryland of Chico. He is also survived by great-niece, and five great-nephews.

Paul was a forty-five year member of the Elks, and his family asks that donations in his name be made to the Chico Elks Lodge or the charity of your choice.
