He is survived by: his siblings, Anita C. Garza of Yorba Linda, Gloria C. Benavidez (Ruben) of La Mirada, David G. Canales (Diana), Doroteo G. Canales (Rosa), Juan G. Canales (Sharon) of Downey, Emilio G. Canales (Margarita), Gilbert G. Canales (Aurelia), Hector G. Canales and Steve G. Canales (Anna) of Menefee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
