He is survived by: his wife Maria Teresa Castellano; his children, Patricia Cobia, Roderick Meskell Jr., Eleanor Ahmed and John Francis Meskell; his grandchildren, Michael Mario Lascano Jr., Devin Jones Lascano, Thomas Roderick Meskell, Raymon Lewis Meskell, Roderick Philip Meskell III, Jason Kayl Alexander Rosas, John Francis Meskell Jr., Dennis Edward Meskell, Ali Hassan Ahmed III, Nicholas Steven Meskell, Alinah Rayanna Ahmed, James William Meskell and David Cho Meskell; and his great grandchild Aniyah Lascano Marquez.
