It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Vincent Grier (Dixon, California), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Beverly Beck; his children, Tammi Grier Sweeney and Rashad Burnell Grier; his grandson Marques Simon; his nephew Kahlil Grier; his niece Kai Jackson (Kwofi Reed); his siblings, Keith E. Grier and Kay Jackson; his mother Barbara M. Grier; and his godchildren, Oran LaGrande, Crystal LaGrande and Daryl McCray. He was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation made to one of the many Vietnam Veterans organizations is a fitting way to honor Robert's memory.
