He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergil Rush and Arline Rush; and his stepson Dwayne Allen Hassenplug. He is survived by: his wife Sherri; his stepdaughter Kimberlee Saunders (Mark Foerder); his grandchildren, Drew Hassenplug, Sam Saunders, Kylie Hassenplug, Pam Shane (Matt) and Marla Spraker (Steve); and his brother John Rush (Martha). He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
