He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boyd and Ida Mae Boyd; his former wife Melba; and his brothers, Johnson, Joe Jr., Eddie and Jesse.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki, Barry and Terry; his grandchildren, Courtney, Tracy, Jina, Candace and Angela; his great grandchildren, Caiden, Bryson, Bennett, Dawn and Dayzen; his sister Rachel Evans; his daughters-in-law, Wendy, Ann and Eun Kyoung; and his nieces, Kathy and Karen of Virginia.
