It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rutha Lee Burney of Discovery Bay, California, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jenkins and Mary Magdalene Jenkins; her husband Booker Burney; her son Reginald Burney; and her siblings, Shirley, Carl, Paul, Jasper and Grady.
She is survived by: her children, Tyrone Burney (Deborah) of Discovery Bay, CA, Kenneth Burney of Lexington, KY, Joseph Burney of Inkster, MI and Rutha "Lynn" (Arthur) of Buffalo, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
