It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Socorro Payan of Dinuba, California, born in Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Santos Rivas and Theresa Ballesteros; her husband Enrique Payan; her children, Ernest Payan, Henry Payan, Jr., Tom Payan, Teresa Esquibel and Josie Cortes; and her sister Gloria Herevia. She was also cherished by her 14 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren.
