He was predeceased by: his parents, Victorio Diaz and Maria Mena; and his son Jose Luis Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Lidia Garcia Diaz; and his grandchildren, Jose Luis Diaz, Jr., Maricruz Diaz, Lidia Guadalupe Diaz and Salvador Diaz. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
