He is survived by: his wife Gloria Muñoz; his children, Leah Massenge (Kent), Samantha Muñoz, Victoria Muñoz, Andrew Vela and Melissa Vela; his parent Ruben Muñoz; his aunt Estela Rico; his siblings, Angel Muñoz, Angela Zaragoza, Isavel Muñoz and Jessica Muñoz; and his grandchildren, Andrew Vela, Adelynn Aldape, Mya Vela and Ethan Massenge.
