He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Trinidad Carrillo; his wife Maria (Casarez Sanchez) of Jesus; his children, Javier Reyna, Delmira Mendoza, Candelaria Reyna, Raquel Reyna and Trina Reyna; and his father Maximo Trinidad.

He is survived by: his children, Maria Rivera, Guadalupe Reyna, Luis Reyna, David Reyna and Miguel Reyna. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
