He is survived by: his wife Patti Hyder; his son Anthony Valero; his daughter-in-law Yesenia Valero; his grandchildren, Gene Hernandez, Anthony Valero and Christopher Valero; his daughter Shauna Hyder; his daughter-in-law Brooke Hyder; his daughter Jonette Gonzalez; his son-in-law Silvestre Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Kasandra Gonzalez and Silvestre Gonzalez; his great grandchild Silvestre Gonzalez Jr.; and his siblings, Gilberto Valero, Francisca Arellano, Teresa Rodriguez, Evangelina Magallanes, Jose Valero, Miguel Valero, Alma Gallardo and Enrique Valero.
