He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Segars and Merle Segars. He is survived by: his grandsons, Oliver and Eli; his wife Maurine Geiser Segars; his children, Jason Segars (Ashley Pistol) and Melissa Hill (Brian); his sister Janice Looper; and his sister-in-law Diane Geiser.
