She is survived by: her parents, Edward Despins and Elizabeth Despins; her friends, Natalie, Hailey, Macy, Ryan and Justin; her sisters, Ava and Stella; her grandmothers, Paula Tardibone and Taiko Lacey; her aunts, Nicole (Eliot Despins), Kimberly (Nick Grassley), Michelle (Henry Cowart) and Gina Tardibone; her cousins, Jack, Miles Despins, Ryan, Morgan Grassley, Michael and Stephanie Mastropietro; her godparents, Rob and Deb Carter; and her pet Tora.
Donations in honor of Alexa may be made to Liam's Lighthouse Foundation, a non-profit raising awareness of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis.
