He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Carpenter and Thelma Carpenter; and his former wife Glenda Stevens. He is survived by: his son Daniel (Sarah); his wife Lynda Bakke; his children, Wesley (Shannon) and Stephanie Leigh (Greg); and his brother Robert (Beryl). He is also survived by two nephews, and many cousins.
