With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lloyd Smith (Denair, California), born in Saint Helena, California, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Smith and Irene Smith; his brother Ted Smith (Sylvia Smith); and his grandchildren, Dakota Lawrence and Triniti Pinter.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia; his brother Mike Smith (Marlene); and his children, Brett Whipple (Cindy), Lynette Antonucci (Richard), Jeannine Ballard (John) and Lee Smith (Michelle). He is also survived by 14 grandkids and 24 great grandkids.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Lloyd Smith Residence (4304 Marissa St, Denair, CA 95316).
