She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Alloween Smith; her grandson David Shatswell; her daughter-in-law Nancy Shatswell; and her cousins, Jacqueline Carnahan and Jill Borgstorf.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Pa" Shatswell; her children, Dennis Shatswell (Cheryl), Denice Mendoza (Tom) and Darrin Shatswell (Janna); her cousins, Jim Hager, Shirley Mahana, Gary Carnahan, Vickie Graham, John Carnahan, Jim Carnahan and Judy Kahler; and her close friend Jeanette Pierce. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loved relatives, friends, her church family and her loving healthcare nurses.
