John Robert Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to John Robert Johnson of Delhi, California, born in Merced, California. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Vernie Johnson (Bunnie); his daughter Socorro; his sister Lauretta; his nieces and nephews, Vivian, Esther, Matthew and Paul; his granddaughter-in-law Denise; and his great grandchild Cody.

He is survived by: his wife Socorro (Carol); and his children, John (Terri), Chris, Joe (Donda), Genny Caraveo (Bryan), Patricia Graves (Bill) and Elena Gutierrez (Lupe). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Mortuary (247 N Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (1200 Lyons Ave, Turlock, CA 95380).

In remembrance, donations may be made to Turlock P.A.L., or Covenant Hospice of Turlock.
