As a god daughter (daughter to Nick and Connie Ragus), he always sent me birthday and Christmas cards decorated with stickers and happy faces even thru my adult years. He gave me away at our wedding, and were at his 90th birthday celebration. He was such a loving, kind, generous man, lit up the room with his smile, and he deeply loved his family. Many memories to treasure.”

As he would share our campfire at Huntington Lake, Grant’s Grove, and Sequoia Lake in late summer, One especially funny memory was when he boasted we swam across Huntington Lske, when in fact it was across a small bay! He was always such a happy person, but I know he was ready to be with his wife in heaven. He loved her and spoke of her often.”
