She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bell and Mollean Bell; her husband James Collins; and her brothers, Jimmy Bell, Willie Bell, Clemmie Bell, Frank Rhodes and George Samuels.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Collins (Jessica D. Collins) and Derek Collins; her granddaughters, Tiffany Collins and Briana Collins; her great grandchildren, Autumn Santos, Alexander Santos and Andrew Santos; and her siblings, Doris Jackson, Alma Daily, Eugene Samuels and Johnny Bell.
