He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Maria Salazar and Rosa Salazar; his wife Alicia Bazan Salazar; his sons, Antonio Salazar, Louie Salazar and Abel Salazar; his siblings, Joe Salazar, Amaro Salazar, Oscar Salazar, Margarita Salazar Blanco and Yolanda Salazar Sifuentes; and his children, Alex Salazar Jr. and Anna Salazar Ochoa. He was also cherished by 4 grandsons, 10 granddaughters, 28 great grandkids, and 8 great-great grandkids.
