He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chin Lin Ngoon and Chow Toy King; his wife Nelly Chin; his children, Simon Chin, Catherine Cheah and Grace Osborne; his brother Steven Chin; and his son Richard Chin. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
