As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Cornelis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubertus Rotteveel and Cornelia Rotteveel; his wife Mary Stoop; his children, John (Cindy), Hubert, Nick (Kris) and Carolene Dolan (Brian); and also Alice Konyn.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (1275 B St, Davis, CA 95616).

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Neal and continue his legacy of generosity are encouraged to contribute to a scholarship fund for graduating seniors at Dixon High School that is currently being established.
