It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Dorothy Stein (Danville, California), who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Aanerud and Rosella Aanerud; her husband John; and her brothers, Richard and Roger.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan (Robert) of Danville, CA; her friends, Lee, Irene Gray, Pat and Judy Felker; her granddaughter Claire; her niece Roxanne Oulman; her sister Virginia of Venice, FL; her son James (Patti) of Alameda, CA; her grandchildren, Aria and Kevin; her great grandchild Hannah; and also Shelly Simmons. She is also survived by "mom" not just to her kids but to other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the charity of your choice that "feeds the hungry, gives drink to the thirsty, clothes the naked, welcomes the stranger, visits the imprisoned, cares for the sick or shelters the homeless.".
