She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Horace Littlejohn and Esther Littlejohn; her husband Gregory R. McConnell (Greg); her children, Kalela (Spencer) of Olney, MD, Gregory McConnell, Jr. (JR) of Oakland, CA and Kimberley Riberdy (Jason) of Dublin, CA; her grandchildren, Aliya G. of Washington and Kituria J. Riberdy; and her siblings, Phyllis Palm, Montressa Fisher, Horace G. Littlejohn, III and Millicent Littlejohn Wheeler. She was also cherished by loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
