He was predeceased by: his parents, Ace Gilmore and Nancy Gilmore (Smith) of Arkansas; his wife Freida Gilmore (Crawford); and his siblings, Bill and Norma.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa (Robert) and Kim (Tim); his grandchildren, Michael (Jaime), Samatha (Andrew), Britney (Nate), Brendan, Nathan and Cameron; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Braxton, Delaney, Claire and Brooke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
