He was predeceased by: his parents, Godofredo Garcines and Quirina Garcines; and his brother Erlindo Ramos Garcines. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Ruben Albayda and Nerfhie Garcines; his wife Maripaz "Marie" Bernardo Garcines; his children, Sarah Kay Bernardo-Slugher and Rodrigo Bernardo Garcines Jr; his son-in-law Michael Slugher Sr; his grandchildren, Kiara Nicole, Michael Jr, Dodo and Myles; and also, Leonardo Suing and Richie Garcines. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and others in his family and friends.
