She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, J. Dan John and Mary St. John; her husband Ron; her daughter Katherine Giuffre (Alex Slowatek); her grandsons, Nile and Skye of Centennial, Colorado; her daughter Michelle Giuffre Howell (Jason) of Divide, Colorado; her sister Carol St. John of Fremont; and her nephews, Dan and Gary Corippo (Kim).
To assist with the advancement of Alzheimer's research, Nan chose to donate her brain tissue for research at the University of California San Francisco and was then cremated.
