She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Jones Sr. and Lillian R. Mason; and her brothers, Jerry Jones, Matt Jones Jr. and Carl Jones Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Walter Price Jr.; her sister Barbara Lea; her grandchildren, Vanessa Price-Cooper, Kevin Price Jr., Lejon Price-Jefferson and Jaylen Price; and her great grandchildren, Kali Price, Kevin Price III, Nylah Cooper and Kacey Price.
She had O negative blood—known as the universal donor— and understanding the critical importance of that, she made it her mission to donate blood throughout the majority of her adult life.
