She was predeceased by: her husband Jose; her children, Josefina and Frank; and her brother Larry. She is survived by: her brother Leon; her daughter Josie; her son-in-law Mario; her grandchildren, Jan Michelle, Marielle Ann, Joseph and Jared; and her sisters-in-law, Sofia and Ignacia. She is also survived by relatives, nieces and nephews.
Pre- pandemic, she dutifully opened the Church doors, turned on the lights and lit candles every morning to offer early parishioners a place of refuge from the all too familiar San Francisco fog and year round 60 degree morning chill prior to mass.
