As Katherine Adele departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katherine Adele. Though Katherine Adele may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Gervasi and Carmela Gervasi; and her brother Phillip Gervasi. She is survived by: her spouse Augustine Calija; her sons, Robert and Richard Reese; and her stepchildren, Timmy, Belinda and Chris Calija.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kevin Catholic Church (704 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Old Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014).
