She is survived by: her husband Robert Shipp; her sister-in-law Delores Smith of Pittsburg, CA; her brother Michael Scales (Deborah) of San Francisco, CA; her children, Phillip Smith of Marin, CA, Karen "Kelly" Armstrong (Lionel) of San Francisco, CA, Frances Smith of Oakland, CA, Cedric Smith of Oakland, CA and Nissa Shipp of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Pierre Francois (Zarina), Tiffany Gorman (Brian), Terry Francois, Richard Williams, Marco Williams, Jasmine Smith, Shanice, Courtney Smith, Edward, Zaire, Aaliyah, Tomarion and Jeremiah; and her great grandchildren, Talaya, Kalina, Amina, Isabella Francois, Atarah, Zai and Arie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
