It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Ann Ellis of Daly City, California, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkie Whitaker and Alvin Whitaker (Henry Ellis); her son Andre Ellis; and her sisters, Mary Etta Daniels, Mae Francis Brown, Alice Faye McClure and Paulette Diane Whitaker.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Ellis; her sons, Henry Ellis Jr. of Daly City, CA and Alvin Ellis of Daly City, CA; her sisters, Barbara Brewster (San Francisco) and Sharon Black (San Francisco); her daughter DeAnna Braden of Richmond, CA; her daughters-in-law, Beverly Ellis (Andre Ellis) and Mary Peterson (Alvin Ellis); her grandchildren, Lashae Thomas, Domonique Ellis, Andre Ellis Jr., Zanaya Ellis, Michael Ellis Smith, Jimmie Braden III, Christopher Braden, DaMiela Braden and Eniya Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Ukiah Ware, Kendrick Thomas, Julian Plaza, Cameron Ellis, Ariah Ellis, Nubia Braden, Zafirah Braden, Jimmie Braden IV, Tamayra Braden, Matthew Jones, Aaliyah Braden and Daron Johnson.
