He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lee Jones and James Thornton; and his brothers, Eddie Raymond and Woodrow Sims Thomas. He is survived by: his friend Steve; his wife Monique Hayes-Thornton; his children, Andrew Thornton, Jr. and Donyale Thornton; his grandchildren, Curtis Thornton (Cecelia) and Brianna Bynum; and his siblings, Lester Thomas, Jr., Ollie White (Bert), Edmonia Johnson and Constance Faulkner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives.
