She was predeceased by: her parents, Yuki Uyeno and Yoshio Giyu Uyeno; and her husband Bruce Taiji. She is survived by: her son Darryl Masami Taiji; and her grandson Ryleigh Masami Sims. She is also survived by her sisters, her brother, as well as her nieces, nephew, grandniece, grandnephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
