She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Curiel and Gabriela Lopez; and her brother Benny Vega. She is survived by: her children, Benita Vega, Frank Vega, Mike Vega, Dolores Vega, Rachel Torreblanca, Elsie Quiñonez, Angie Acevedo and Kristina Vasquez; and also Ramona Chavez. She is also survived by spouses, 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren.
