He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bokelman and Marie Bokelman (Poppe); and his siblings, Eleanor Wolff (Bokelman), Esther Depue (Bokelman), Norman Bokelman, Leonard Bokelman and Kenneth Bokelman.
He is survived by: his children, John Frederick Bokelman, MD (Beth Rogozinski) and Janet Marie Thomas (Bokelman); his grandchildren, Sloane Feeley (Brendan Feeley), Taylor Grimshaw (Thomas Grimshaw) and Garrison Thomas; his wife Edith; and his siblings, William Bokelman of Texas, Herman Bokelman of Florida and Lola Legget (Bokelman) of Southern California.
