He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Montanez; and his granddaughter Lauren Montanez. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph, Kenneth, Paul and Daniel Montanez; his grandchildren, Julian, Eric, Penn and Rowan Montanez; and his nieces, Athena Carrasco, Kelley Hayes, Jill Dose, Andrea Mathis and Kira Kirkland.
