With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Bieckert Setka (Culver City, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph (Emma Bieckert) and Swiss (German); her husband Joe; and her sisters, Joann Childers and Margaret Bieckert.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Marilynn), Tina Anderson (Cary) and Thomas (Debi); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Stefan), Kristina, Jacqueline and Nick (Olivia).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Cross Mortuary (5835 W Slauson Ave, Culver City, CA 90230). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Cross Mortuary Chapel (5835 W Slauson Ave, Culver City, CA 90230). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (5835 W Slauson Ave, Culver City, CA 90230).
