We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 89, Julius J Gavlak of Culver City, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Evelyn Cronin; his siblings, Helen K. Fox, John J., Regina Gavlak, Joseph F. Gavlak and Francis A. Gavlak; his brother-in-law Dunbar Plante; his niece Darleen Plante; his nephews, Christopher Fox and David Gavlak; and his parents, Julius Gavlak and Susan T. Gavlak (Susienka).
He is survived by: his sisters, Pauline R. Gavlak of Douglas and Mary Plante of Manchaug; his sister-in-law Jackie Gavlak of Ohio; and his nephew Steven. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (23 Manchaug Rd, Douglas, MA 01516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Denis Cemetery.
