She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reed and Lola Reed; her husband Joel; her daughter Lola Owings; and her sister Oleta Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Johnson and Edwin Owings (Angelina); her siblings, Weldon Reed, Ray Reed (LaWanda) and Faye Staples (Jack); her grandchildren, Ronnie Johnson, Joann Johnson, Cara Owings and Emily Reed (Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Breaunna Johnson, Leslie Joe Johnson, Annalena Reed, Tee and Marlee Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
